I have learned 1000s of songs of more than 600 artists for students and myself. I regularly learn new songs for teaching and performance.

With a few obvious exceptions (particularly in the Electric Guitar category), the vast majority of the songs were recorded in the same way – one single track, vocals and instrument simultaneously, warts and all with no “fixing” or editing (outside of fades), on a small, hold-in-the-palm-of-your-hand, digital recorder.
